DCOMEX was founded in 2017 in Belém, Pará, based on the trajectory and vision of its founder and CEO, Davison Marcos, a professional who has worked in foreign trade since the age of 21. His practical and technical background was built over more than 15 years at the traditional Geraldo Alencar Office, a historic reference in Pará and in the customs clearance segment. With over 60 years of activity, the firm was one of the region’s pioneers and played a decisive role in consolidating the sector. In 2017, the Geraldo Alencar Office closed its activities, and it was at this moment that DCOMEX emerged, carrying forward this legacy of excellence and knowledge built under the guidance of Dr. Geraldo Alencar and Dra. Erika Alencar.
With this solid foundation and direct experience in real operations, DCOMEX was created with a clear objective: to make foreign trade safer, more predictable, and better managed, reducing rework, risks, and unexpected costs. From the beginning, the company was structured with technical rigor in customs clearance and quickly established a strong presence in Pará, with strategic operations in Belém and Vila do Conde, in addition to interfacing with airports and other bonded facilities.
As client demands grew and operations became more complex, DCOMEX evolved from a model focused solely on customs clearance to a broader, end to end management approach. This includes supplier support at origin, operational planning, international freight quotation and coordination, shipment tracking, document analysis and auditing (BL or AWB, Invoice, Packing List, and supporting documents), preparation and processing of DI, DUIMP, DUE, and LPCO, interface with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service and other regulatory agencies, as well as coordination of road transportation and monitoring of final delivery.
This evolution has been sustained by a constant commitment to control and traceability. DCOMEX invests in process standardization, continuous improvement, and organization of operational evidence, strengthening a working model aligned with governance and quality practices. To ensure transparency and agility, the company also uses an online process management system with structured follow up and real time visibility of deadlines, pending issues, and stage status.
Today, DCOMEX is a reference in Pará, recognized for the quality, consistency, and technical level of its deliveries, with a service and execution standard that positions it among the leading providers in the segment in the state. Looking ahead, the company continues to strengthen its positioning as a provider of customs solutions and efficient foreign trade management, connecting companies in the region to the international market with greater security, predictability, and performance.
